Whether your work represents original research, quality improvement, education, clinical practice, or emerging technologies, we encourage you to contribute to a programme that reflects the diversity and strength of our global ECLS community.
Every abstract submitted plays an important role in advancing knowledge, challenging current practice, and inspiring future collaboration. We are committed to providing a fair, transparent, and rigorous peer-review process that recognizes scientific merit and encourages meaningful discussion.

Abstracts may be submitted for oral or poster presentation. The scientific committee reserves the right to reassign the requested format where necessary.

Review each category below before you begin. Only complete submissions that follow these requirements will be considered for evaluation.
300-word limit — total word count cannot exceed 300 words.
Author details — presenting author email required; all authors must state department, institution, city and country (multiple affiliations allowed).
Required sections — Background/Introduction, Methods, Results, Limitations, and Conclusions.
Formatting — Times New Roman or Arial, 12pt, single-spaced, no space between paragraphs, justified alignment.
Visuals — abstracts may include up to 1 figure and 1 graph.
Ethical approval — statement of approval or exemption, with committee name and reference number (note if pending).
Format relevance — the abstract's format should suit the type of project being presented.
Presenting author — abstract must be submitted by the presenting author; a co-author may be designated co-presenter and must also register.
Conflicts of interest — disclose any financial interests, vendor affiliations, or royalties; abstracts may not be used to promote goods or services.
Post-acceptance review — approval may be revoked if a conflict of interest is uncovered after acceptance.
Own expenses — presenters are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and other costs.
Point of contact — the presenting author is also the corresponding author for all committee correspondence.
No submission limit — there is no limit to the number of abstracts an individual author may submit.
Registration required — all accepted presenting authors, and any co-presenting co-authors, must register for the conference.
File formats — figures must be submitted as TIFF (tagged image format) or EPS (encapsulated postscript) files.
Tables — should be presented as images.
Resolution — 1200 dpi for diagrams, scanned line drawings, and bitmap line drawings; internet-downloaded JPEG, GIF, or PDF artwork cannot be used.
Bar graphs — consider showing individual data points where this better illustrates the distribution of the data.
Patient consent — required for any figure containing patient images; an institutional consent form with a photo-release clause is sufficient.
Consent statement — include a consent statement directly below the abstract text.
